Yesterday Rainmaker and I hiked  on the AT to meet Hawkeye who is thru
hiking this year. We also met El Nino,(Doug) the dude who attempted the yoyo
of the PCT last year, with that other guy. We  camped with them at Low Gap
last night. These two
are really something.

I think Hawkeye's surname should be Hot Tub.
El Nino still does the tyvek, sleeping under the stars. We all prepared for
bear visits, since that shelter had a bad bear last year, causing the
closing of the shelter for 2 weeks.

No Bear incident, though, perhaps sencing the presence of PCT and AT thru
hikers, it knew to  o Mess With Our Food would be to Mess With Destiny.   :)

See ya'll up at L. Morena Friday night. Fly out to Diego on Thursday PM,
heading to the border by daybreak.
