[pct-l] tampons

There are some things I cannot hike without. Sanitary
feminine hygiene is one of those things...and washing out some kind of
dead marine animal and reusing it doesn't exactly sounds like my cup of
tea. However, to each their own! :) Depending on your
area, you can purchase a wide range of sea sponges at craft supply
stores, bath and body stores, or new age medicine stores.

And maybe it's just my body, but after the few weeks, you barely need
anything anyway because your body has a reaction to the stress of the
trail.

Any other thoughts?

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of
alternatives to carrying tampons

and packing them out after use... Has anyone experienced or heard of
using

sea sponges and washing them. Where would I find sea sponges
anyway???

Thanks
