If you are planning a start at Cascade Summit then fly to Portland or Eugene Oregon.  Then take a Greyhound bus (www.greyhound.com) to Chemult.  If you make arrangements  with the driver  he/she will let you off at Willamette Pass Ski Area.  The PCT is just 100 yards to the east.  If that connection doesn't work, fly into Redmond Oregon and I will make sure you get to the trail.
