[pct-l] pct-l spinoff list for trail conditions?

If the new list doesn't go with backcountry.net, might
I suggest groups.yahoo.com (formerly egroups and
onelist) instead? Many (most?) on this list are
already also registered with them for Backpacking
Light and Backpack Gear Test, etc., and I'd save
another registration.
