In reality tarps vs. tents is neither here nor there. It's all dependent
upon one's tolerance for the variability's of nature. If I wish to stay
closed in, I'll stay home.

By the way, my tarp/tent includes the netting. So that's not an added
weight. With some adjustments, I expect to get it down under a pound.
