Hi all,

This is my introduction to the list.  Notice the e-mail address and weird 
translation of my name...the reason is because I am in
Russia!  I am hoping to hike the trail in a year to celebrate my
homecoming to the wonderful West.  I miss the mountains, think about the
desert, and can't wait to have both around me again.  Send a warm "privet"
(Russian for "hi" in Latin letters) to the land for me.
