George Bernard Shaw said "An apology is politeness too late" and that is 
certainly the case here. To The Dude - I apologize for my unnecessary and 
mean comments in my last nasty little post. In actuality your post was a good 
one and pointed out that I need to stand back and take a good look at my 
level of intolerance and not get into snits over inconsequential things such 
as barely audible radio sounds coming from an adjoining camp.( But please 
keep the volume down - not out of fear of reaction but out of respect for the 
desire of serenity in others) I guess you made me realize that I was over 
reacting, I felt ashamed over it and stupidly lashed out in wrongly perceived

   P.S. to the person looking for $40 crampons - try checking out REI rentals 
or other sporting good stores that rent climbing gear. sometimes they'll let 
rental gear several years old go for a good price, but strap on crampons are 
becoming passe and hard to find
