If it is not PCT related (or loosely hiking related) please don't post it.

Access to handguns and murder rates in US vs Canada is off topic.
Discussing the merits of 5.56mm vs 7.62mm ammunition while hiking in Laos 
in the early 70s is off topic.
Political agenda's that don't directly affect the trail are off topic.

Further off topic posts on the current gun thread may result in warnings or 
list removals.
