[pct-l] kern hot springs

hello everyone,

trying to plan a trip to kern hot springs in Sequoia NP into my throughhike 
this summer.  apparently, its a 24 mile roundtrip from junction of PCT with 
high sierra trail.  noticing an obvious shortcut cross country from rock 
creek ford on pct just over siberian pass - looks like about a 3 mile one 
way of the pct cross country down the rock creek drainage.  looks doable on 
topo (as do slopes south of rock creek leading down to the kern), assuming 
snow is melted in trees below 10000ft in mid june.  anyone out there know 
this area well enough to lend some thoughts on this proposed cross country 
detor.  thanks.
