Another of my favorite items for the trail is a poncho. Very versatile piece 
of gear that doubles as tarp or awning and is tops for ventilation when 
walking in rain. Stephenson Warmlight sells their Fussy version for 59.00 or 
an over-the-pack version for 69.00. Poncho has zippers on the sides and 
weighes only ounces!! Ponchos are totally over-looked and under used by 
today's ultra-crowd. As a lifetime native of Western Washington, I can say 
ponchos work very well in the rain and maintained trails. As Reynolds can 
add, Stephenson gear is not cheap, but made very well for those who can swing 
a few extra bucks.
