Hello everyone,

My mother-in-law gave me bear canisters for xmas.  Have always just bear
bagged before.  Is it the practice to set these out by themselves in an open
area about 30-yards from your tent site and let the animals have a go at
them?  Sorry to sound so stupid but I am really wondering how other people
place them.  Thanks.
