These poles are certainly cheap for Leki but they are not the poles I use or
recommend.

Actually there are 2 versions of the Leki that seem to work. The ones that I
use have angled grips, a wrist sling and shock adsorbers. They are about
$130 per pair plus $5 for the snow baskets. The kind my wife uses has
straight grips, no shock adsorbers but still have the wrist strap. They are
about $100. 

The poles on sale appear to have a different hand grip. I have no idea how
they work.
