RE: [pct-l] trekking poles study

I resisted use of dual poles because thy ain't cool. I hated to give up my
trusty staff for aluminum "ski poles". I finally sprung for a pair of Leki
adjustable. Awesome. Even at 6-2 I can adjust them long enough to have them
help crossing water and still use the wrist strap. Uphill, I adjust them
short and it really helps me up the big rock stairs. It also keeps me from
falling most of the time.
