Re: [pct-l] If there were no horses...

Brick - So I take it you would do away with the group limit size in the
wilderness and allow one hundred people to enter wilderness on one permit,
then two hundred when the races gain popularity, then 500 and so on and so
on. I want to see you address the concept of group size limits. No one so far
has done so because there is no way around this unless you break the spirit
of the law and have organized racers get one permit per person at the expense
of all the other people who want to go into the wilderness to find sanctuary.
Come on, I'm waiting to hear your logic on getting rid of or getting around
group size limits. I'm certain that this is why the PCTA is so concerned
about organized racing on the PCT, not damage to the trail. Where is the flaw
in my logic?????Group size limits are there for a reason. If you can't figure
out why then sadly, that's your problem. Go whine to your congressman like
all the rest of the special interests about doing away with the Wilderness
Act of 1964. Once again, I'm eagerly waiting a response. I'm betting you
can't have a logical one. And Big Hummel thanks for caring and know that you
are not alone in your views. And P.S. I thought we weren't supposed to get
personal in our posts. As this list's moderator , shame on YOU for doing so.
