[pct-l] No racing on PCT, please

The PCT is a National Scenic Trail, not a national speedway.  When the National Scenic Trails Act was passed by Congress, did we decide to create these beautiful trails for competitive races?  I don't think so.  My objection is for both foot and equestrian racing.  Allowing races cheapens the idea of national scenic trails.  I prefer preservation over racing.
