[pct-l] newbie question

It's a rather simple, yet necessary question and any help would be
appreciated.  This August my b/f and I will be hiking a small portion of
the Pacific Crest.  We will be arriving in San Francisco, and I wanted to
know if there was any type of public transportation that could bring us
out to Donner Sunnit or Echo Summit.
