Welcome to the List, Carl! Ah! Another '77 thruhiker raises his ugly head to
spout the ancient heavy weight blasphemy and joins the worthy fight against
the hideous spread of the dreaded Jardinites!

Yes, Paul and I, in a close-to-insanity state of mind, averaged about 25 mile
days through it cause "there isn't anything else to do except sit in your wet
tent and mope". We sat out one day in the tool shed (the only dry shelter
available) at Kennedy Hot Springs.
