Here is what Forester looked like about 10 days after Upper Tyndall creek
showed 0 inches of water content

The note says "early season" but I took the photo July 13, 1995. I crossed
in running shoes with my toy ice axe, but the trail across the chute had
been dug out by the Charlotte Lake Ranger (no tourists, so they were
bored...) I hit snow about Big Horn Plateau and stayed in and out of it all
the way to Vidette Meadows - North of Forester Pass. The Snow Pillow at
Upper Tyndall was snow free when I went through there. I took the time to
hike to the Ranger station and have a look.
I did not have a fun time, but it was doable.
