Hello all;
My Name is Gary Weinheimer and I'm a Photographer/Backpacker living in
Reno NV. I just joined this list.
Greg "strider" Hummel recently wrote on the snow conditions in the
northern Sierra. I'm curious on your opinion on the snow levels at
Raymond lake just south on Markleeville. (7.5 mi. approx.) I'm
planning a little walk up there the 2nd of June. I haven't called the
ranger station yet because I'm still a month out from my trip. The lake
sits just under 9,000 ft. What kind of snow, if any, do you think I'll
run into. Also if anyone has been out there I'd love to hear your
comments on the place.
Thanks for your opinions and Peace;
Gary
