[pct-l] FW: Homemade Alcohol Stove
There's some good news on the "beer can" stove at the bottom, so skip there
if you don't want to read some good-natured banter.
Greg Humble (sic) said:

Well Greg, I guess you're not talking about me because my dad is Roy
Robinson.... But anal? Just because I ran the 20 miles from the border to
Lake Morena WITH my backpack, ... and I rooted loudly for my dad's improved
"tuna can" stove in the stove contest, ... and I'm planning to attempt the
Calendar Triple Crown next year, ... and I drove over 1200 miles last
weekend just to be at a silly picnic, ... and ... Guilty as charged ;-)
(For those who can't tell because this is email, we all got to know one
another well enough at ADZPCTKO that we're feeling free to tease one
another. Greg is WAY too nice a guy to have meant any harm by his remark.)
So now for the important stuff. I saved an email sent in February to the
BackpackingLight list from Scott Henderson that outlined how to make his
"beer can" stove. I asked Scott for permission to forward his email to
pct-l. His reply is at the end of this message. Does anyone have the web
space and the expertise to help Scott publish his stove plans?
Brian
