I use a Backpacker but it uses lots of fuel. The question is "How much
more?" Is the weight of the Backpacker and extra fuel worth it? Will a
Backpacker even work with an alcohol stove?

Greg, Have you finished your stove yet? If so let's run an experiment.

TOM.

FYI-I cook everything in the Backpacker in a plastic bag so there is NO
cleanup of the pot.
FAYE-Real rice tastes LOTS better than Minute Rice
