Thanks to everyone who responded to my request for comments.  I
compressed most of the image files and removed several superfluous
banners and buttons.  Result was a drop in total size from 2.7M to 1.0M,
with negligible loss of quality!!!  Should be ultralight, even for the
slow modem crowd...

Now if I could only do the same thing with my packweight... Anyway, if
you got put off by slow loading, give it another try...
