Not exactly, lots of things affect download speed. I have a 256K pipe. At
about 8Pm it took 20 seconds to download. At 1 AM the same file took 2-3
seconds. It is generally accepted that 68K is kinda big for a first page.
{this is based on an 8 second, maximum, first page load time}Someone
suggested compressing the Jpeg. That is better than dropping to 256 colors.
Alternatively, move the picture to page two. Still, great shot.

PS: I will measure this page [www.ilan.com] and send you a graph of its
performance. If you could figure this out with a calculator they wouldn't
pay me so much money.
