Ground Pounder Bill !
What up G Dog? Lol
Hey- What are you talking about?
I attended the 2012 Kick Off and I heard that there were naked hikers
wrestling in chocolate at the Anderson's campsite. Not true.
They wrestled at the Anderson's house, at mile # 478 ! Lol.
I attended the 2012 Kick Off and heard that an individual had a lawn and
leaf sized bag full of brownies and were giving them away. True.
Up trail, I was hungry and low on food, so my hiking companion shared a few
brownies with me. Lol.
He said somebody back at the Kick Off, had a lawn and leaf sized bag full
of brownies, and he took about 100 brownies for himself. Lol.
Yes- people partied at the Kick Off. And- many other people did not. I
didn't even know of the Anderson's, or much else about the Kick Off, until
attending, and I sure as hell didn't have the guts to go over to the
Anderson's campsite, but I wanted to! Lol.
Keepin' it real!

PS The Kick Off for me, was a life affirming event, that was a high five,
fist bump, back slap, hand up, kick in the pants, barrel full of monkeys
extravaganza, like none that I had ever participated in, over and above a
full and well lived life. I found out later, that I was undertaking
(unbeknownst at the time) a life changing event, which I resisted
embracing, with great effort, only to succumb (eventually) to the sweet
seductiveness of the PCT trail hiking experience.
I am Paint Your wagon, and I approve of this message.
