[pct-l] Truckee parking

I am in need of a safe place to park my Honda CR-V from now to first of October. I am hiking southbound from Sierra City to Lone Pine/Kennedy Meadows. Appreciate any ideas anyone has. I'll need to get back to the car when I'm finished via public transportation. So parking it somewhere relatively near the bus station would be good. Alternately, I could park it near loan pine or Kennedy Meadows.  Ideas? Anyone?
