Hi TomL,
Starting on June 10th is probably doable.  You will find snow over
Jefferson and probably by Crater Lake.  I think your real issue will be
mosquitoes.  Middle of June to middle of August is prime mosquito season in
pretty much all of Oregon and northern California.  Just be prepared.

Hello,
 I am planning on doing a N-S of Oregon to Etna Ca.. The only chance I'll
have is to start on about June 10, this year.
 My question is that given that this will probably be an average snow year
for that area would it be better to go S-N instead?
