[pct-l] Adventures of Peaches & Grumpy

Peaches and Grumpy are hiking the PCT.

Peaches is a sweetheart....she loves Grumpy very much and would do
anything for Grumpy.
Grumpy is a selfish swine and continuously takes advantage of poor
sweet Peaches.
One night, while camped at the foot of Forester Pass during a violent
thunder storm, Grumpy wakes up extremely thirsty but dreads getting
out of the tent to get his water bottle left by a tree 20 feet away.

Grumpy comes up with a brilliant idea...he takes his shoe and tosses
it as hard as he can against the tent wall.
Peaches jumps up startled and shouts, "what was that"?
Grumpy replies "oohhh nothing Peaches, I just bumped against the
tent...but while you're up Peaches, would you mind getting my water
bottle?
Like always, Peaches replies "OK Grumpy" and proceeds to crawl out of
the tent.
Grumpy,.....it's pouring outside Peaches shouts.
Grumpy replies  "here, take my poncho".
Thank you Grumpy, you are so sweet and considered Peaches replies.

Like I said Peaches loves Grumpy very much and would do anything for
grumpy.

For some reason, and I don't know why, "Grumpy reminds me a lot of
Switchback and poor Peaches reminds me of poor, long suffering, Mrs.
Switchback.
Seems to me that somebody told me that poor Mrs. Switchback is still
cutting grass with "Scissors."
