[pct-l] Wave guesstimate

Hmmm. This time last year I was guzzling pepsi, beer, and cheeseburger after cheeseburger at KM.  I had hiked from Whitney Portal south to KM and had encountered perhaps 18-20 nobos along the way, the vanguard of the 2014 class, each one asking about snow amounts and water sources. At KM another dozen or so were taking a zero or 2, with a few trickling in.

It seems that this year there has been a bit more tempestuous weather in SoCal than last year.  My guess is that a great many are 100-150 miles south of KM.
