[pct-l] Trekking Poles

I've used Komperdells for years.  The first pair I had finally wore out (the 
internal locking mechanism).  They were so old that the company didn't have 
the parts to repair them.  They gave me a good deal on a replacement pair.

BTHW I use a pair of circa 2011 REI carbon fiber poles made by  Komperdell. 
I don't know how the new ones are made but the ones I have, have taken a lot 
of abuse.
