Never wash in good water sources. For socks and underwear, maybe
tshirts, use a large freezer bag. Put water in it with some
biodegradeable campsuds and the clothes. Zip it closed and shake
vigourously. Then you can empty the water well away from water
sources and refill for rinsing as many times as needed, always
dumping away from water sources. We then hang the clothes on trees
overnight. I'd also suggest carrying out all your baby wipes. Better
yet, take a bandana and use it for cleaning your body, again using
the freezer bag so you don't have to rinse rinse the bandana in your
water source. And a soaked bandana is great around your neck while
walking.
