[pct-l] Hoka shoes

There are people here who can no doubt explain the phenomenon more clearly,
but I found that, since the trail runners were fairly light, a loose fit
meant that there wasn't enough friction built up to cause blisters or other
problems. (This might not be true with heavier hiking boots.) I started out
trying to keep the shoes snug, but since it's pretty difficult to tie them
in such a way as to make all parts of the foot snug and not shift, there
were always areas that did rub (such as the heel or ball of the foot).
Loosening them meant that no part was in any significant amount of solid,
friction-causing contact at any point in the step.
