208 miles from Campo will put you at Interstate 10.

If you plan on having a stove, you will need a campfire permit, that
you can get online, (look on the PCTA site)

The only part of this section that you need a wilderness permit for,
is the area between Hwy 74 and Black Mtn Road, in the San Jacinto
Wilderness area.

You can get a permit from the agency that controls your "point of
entry" that is good for the whole route
