Hey Special K,
I live in Bend Oregon. Medford is a bit industrial for my taste and I have
no idea how close it is to the trail. However, Bend is close to both Elk
Lake and Crater Lake and about 20 miles from Sisters. All of it beautiful
and welcoming to outdoors enthusiasts.
