The PCT Short Film Festival will return once again to the Annual Day
Zero Pacific Crest Trail Kickoff. This is your opportunity to share your PCT
videos on the big Tyvek screen at Lake Morena. Yowza!

We’re looking for short videos under 10 minutes that are somehow
related to the PCT. It can be about preparation, execution, trail
angelling, animals, The Wild Effect, Billy Goat’s beard, etc…as long as
there’s a PCT tie-in!

Here’s how to submit your video:

The format to submit the video is via digital file. The file could be
burned to disk and mailed in, or sent via Dropbox, YouSendIt, or another
file delivery service. If your video is already online on YouTube or Vimeo,
shoot Squatch an email at yetifan at yahoo.com and provide the link. DVDs are
no longer being accepted because, well, it’s 2015 (If you have any file
creating or loading questions, ask Squatch).
The selection of videos to be shown is per the discretion of Squatch and
his crack team of subterranean critics and ne’er-do-wells who will be
looking for originality, shot composition skill, inspirational quality,
humor & good editing (Remember, usually less is more! :)) Videos will be
judged by the crowd at the Kickoff and three awards (along with vendor swag
and eternal glory) will be given out this year:

• Best of Festival
• Best Spirit of the PCT
• Most Humorous

For Dropbox, YouSendIt, online link, or another file delivery service email
Squatch at: yetifan at yahoo.com

Submissions must be received by April 12.

(Submissions may be retained for future use or discarded. No video will be
used for any other use without the permission of the video creator)
