[pct-l] Allergies

I "had" terrible seasonal allergies and finally bit the bullet several
years ago and did allergy shots. That was great, now I get them when the
pollen counts are really high but not as bad.

BUT.... BEFORE I did the shots I used to wear a face mask (which was
really hot hiking) or tie a bandana over my nose and mouth, like in the
old west (less hot but still hot). I liked the bandana better because I
could get it wet and it would make things cooler, no strings to cut into
my cheeks and neck, and also the bandana can be easily washed to get rid
of pollen that was sitting on it after a long day of hiking.
