[pct-l] Ultralight Fry Pan

I got a "backpacking" fry pan at Campmor, with folding handle. A supposedly good brand. It had the non stick coating, which wore off the first time I used it, even though I used soft plastic utensils & did not scour it. I threw it out.

Then I went to Ikea & found a fry pan for $5. I bought it. I protect it with bubble wrap & have used it on only one trip, but it looks as good as new.

I used these only on car camping trips to make pancakes.

Whatever you do, do not use titanium, it is almost impossible to get it clean. Back in Boy Scout days we used the lid of the standard mess kit & it seemed to work okay, but it was fairly heavy.

What do you use for a fry pan? I am
not thinking of one to take on a
thru hike but rather on shorter section hikes or just
 weekend
 backpacking trips.
 Thanks!
