[pct-l] Hiking N from Mill Creek Summit week of T'Giving

Hi Folks,

I've an opportunity to take my 17yr. old daughter with me to finish Section
D and 
into Section E the week of Thanksgiving <we are in Texas>.

I'd like to get some thoughts on:
(a) likely weather conditions;
(b) how to get to Mill Creek Summit;
(c) possible drop out points after Agua Dulce.

I'll be in SoCal on business and she will join at LAX. Public transport is
not a 
problem but I suspect it will only get us so far. Perhaps Uber, Taxi, other?
