In these last days of nothing to do but wait and worry, if you are now thinking you are going to have to worry about poison oak on the PCT, don't. There's hardly any poison oak on the PCT. And a lot of what people think is poison oak isn't. There's a lot of squawbush in Section O people think is poison oak. Really, the poodle dog bush is worse because hardly anybody has ever seen or heard of it and it's really attractive. Makes you want to go up to it and take a closer look because of all the pretty purple flowers.
