An easy option is a one way car rental. Enterprise ('we'll pick you up')
has office in Ridgecrest and satellite office in Bishop.
My husband and I made arrangements from Lone Pine to get a car without too
much of a problem. Or you could hitch to Ridge crest or bus to Bishop to
get a car.
