[pct-l] Ride from Independence to VVR

If your hiking partner is looking for the shortest way to get to VVR, it would be to get a ride up the valley from Independence to Tom's Place and then go up Rock Creek. From there hike over Mono Pass and down to the Lake. That is probably the shortest route to VVR from the east side.

Vermilion Valley Resort in the next few days. Anyone heading that way or
have any ideas on how to get there?
