Another excellent online resource for the snow prognosticators that I have not seen mentioned as yet:
NOAA's NWS Climate Prediction Center's maps, the following 30-day & 90-day outlooks just released today -

Looking more & more like a low snow/ 'dry' winter & spring for CA - very bad for some municipal water
supplies, and potentially a very bad fire season with very dry 'fuel' on hand - be careful out there!  NO FIRES!!!
