[pct-l] Big floppy shoes

What I like are big floppy shoes with some kind of inner sole that is
sticky. I don't like my feet to slide around in my shoe. Some shoes
have an inner sole that is bare rubber and that works great. For me
merino wool socks stick to the rubber well. Not thick socks, just
normal or thin. If the inner sole is fabric, I can buy a foam insole
that will work. I just do not like my feet slipping against the sole.
Otherwise, I like my shoe big because my square little feet just
don't fit anything. So clown shoes are the only way I can do it.

I have made my own shoes and have had success on one particular pair.
They fit great. But since they took me hours and hours to make them
and a million trial and error pairs before and after (one of which
Shroomer saw), I just can't bear to wear them on trail. Some day when
they wear out, maybe I will wear them on trails. I haven't been able
to make another pair that fits as well. I have another that's close
but just a tad too small and too hot.
