Mountain Goat,
That's in the section that we Backcountry Horsement of California members log out each year.  So I've found Cub Spring and am familiar with that section.  But I don't remember Roberts Spring.  Where is it located?  Also , if you could remember, were there many trees down?

Thanks,
QuincyRider

I hiked Humboldt Summit to Carter Spring today. Perhaps what is interesting,
is the low snow. There should be 4' feet of snow. What I found was
occasional patches. some black ice on the trail, and Carter springs was
both dry, and very cold. Also, it was interesting to note, the addition
of Roberts Spring, and Little Cub Spring between Humboldt Summit and
carter spring. I checked both of these water sources out, and Roberts
spring was flowing, but little cub spring, was better for getting
water, as they had put a pipe in, and you could more easily fill your
water containers.
