Let me add to what Bill has said, plus one correction.

First, the exact schedules and details are available at the website

Skamaniacounty.org/senior-services/homepage/services/public-transportation

The fare is $1 or $2 depending on whether you ride in or outside Skamania
County.

sportation>

Here's a partial quote:

"RIDE THE WET BUS The Skamania County West End Transit (WET) bus will begin
an exciting new seven day a week service on May 1 through October 15. The
regular transit bus runs five days a week, two runs a day, with three on
Friday. The seasonal expansion will add four runs a day on Saturday and
Sunday. The bus schedules include stops at Stevenson, Carson, North
Bonneville, Fisher's Landing in Vancouver on 164th Ave, and then return to
Columbia River Gorge trailheads and resorts. The additional stops include
Salmon Falls Park and Ride/Cape Horn Trail, Beacon Rock, Bonneville Hot
Springs, Bonneville Dam, Pacific Crest Trail, Skamania Lodge, Dog Mountain
and the Trapper Creek Wilderness area."

Note the CORRECTED schedule:

Twice per day Monday thru Thursday

Three times on Friday

Four times on Sat and Sunday.

Of interest to PCT hikers, the bus can take you to/from Vancouver WA's
Fishers Landing Transit Center, where you can connect with buses into
Portland. If you are doing the road walk to or from Panther Creek
campground, it can also take you to/from Stevenson and Carson, WA - a
distance of 7 road miles. You'll still have to walk between Carson and PCCG.
