Happy and enthusiastic hikers came together with hard-working and dedicated supporters at Lake Morena County Park this weekend in the biggest and best event of its kind in the world.  Thank you to the organizers and the many volunteers who put on an event of unmatched scope in support of all who have or will hike all or part of the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail.  The cutting winds and cold downpours will soon be forgotten, replaced by the goodwill and friendship that grows stronger with each passing year.  Thank you, Strider.  You are an inspiration.  Be well.  All the rest of you, who know who you are, you do not mind going unnamed.  Nobody does it for recognition.  Hike on !!  BR
