[pct-l] parking near southern terminus

hello everyone!

my aunt is shuttling me to the southern terminus to start my thru next friday april 11th.

she's hoping to hike out w/ me and join me for a night then head back. 

what is it like down there? where's the closest place to park for the night? any ideas for our situation?

she's had a big hand in helping me plan my hike and it would mean a lot to her/us to kick it off this way.

would appreciate any info/ideas. thanks!
