[pct-l] Ultimate assisted speed hike

Sure it's crazy, but imagine the ultimate assisted speed hike.  Three ultra
hikers (in case one or two have to drop out), three rugged four wheel drive
vehicles with two seasoned hikers in each one, lots of GPS support for the
whole team, a couple of helicopter drones capable of carrying and dropping
water, food, and supplies wherever it's needed. The 4-wheelers drive as
close as they can to the PCT each night, then hike in and set up camp and
cook supper for the ultra hikers.  They also bring in a massage therapist
every couple of days . . .  If one of the ultra hikers lags significantly
behind, he/she has to drop out. So how long do you suppose it would take? I
imagine not a whole lot less than the current records.  --Manzanita
