[pct-l] Legs of the PCT (Lint and Anish)- adding Gear

My liner definitely added warmth.  How could I tell?  When I was cold 
without it I pulled it out and used it - and yup, I was warmer.

My experience is a little different on additional warmth of a silk liner. 
On some nights, I would start out sleeping in just the liner, on top of but 
not in the bag.  I could tell that I was warmer than I would have been w/o 
the liner.  If it gave additional warmth outside the bag, it seems logical 
that it would also give additional warmth inside.  Plus, any additional 
layer of fabric would have a quilt effect, i e., trapping more air to be 
warmed by body heat and concurrently reducing air circulation around your 
body.

I believe liners are advertised as adding warmth as a sales point. I do not
believe they actually ad any noticeable warmth to a bag and should not be
depended on to do so, They exist only to try to keep the inside of your bag
clean when you for whatever reason cannot clean up before getting into your
sleeping bag, and that is only if you use it and it holds up for your trip

I cannot find one that fits me.
