There are so many complaints about this new format that Yahoo has shoved down its users throat.  If you go to the feedback site, it is filled with complaints since they changed it.  Seems nothing has gone back to the functionality that we used to have.  I don't think they are listening, or they don't care.  You might consider shutting down the yahoo group site and redirect to gmail.

Actually, you don't even have to go to the "Pacific Crest Trail Sections" page in Yahoo Groups.  Just go to the main Yahoo Groups page. Then you click on "Feedback" on the left margin of the page then on "Suggestions" it opens up the page for suggestions and THEN go over to the right where it says "Search" and type "PCT"  Then you will see the suggestion that is already posted that says " 
	* "Re: Pacific Crest Trail Sections group banner ..... REMOVE THE IMAGE OF BICYCLE RIDER - BICYCLES ARE ILLEGAL ON ANY SECTION OF THE PCT !!!!"
	* And you can vote for that suggestion--I think you can place one two or three votes (I placed three votes!), and you can also add a comment.
If you do go to the page for the PCT Trail Sections group, you can also, as Rob says, click on that cog on the upper right to get to the "Suggestions" page, but then you can "Search" for "PCT"
