A slide occurred south of Red Tahquitz and has been passable for trail users, but stock cannot get through per Idyllwild Federal Ranger Station  A fellow with two mules was spotted below Lyons Peak yesterday moving north and may be unaware.  No postings at SH 74 or anywhere.  The same office isssued a statement that alky stoves were off limits in the San Jacinto Wilderness.  Monte, is there anyway a cap could be devised to smother the stove to offset the requirement of turn-off control?
